Potential Changes to Feeding Supply Coverage: How You Can Help

Please call 443-845-6946 if you have questions. Do not use the ‘Contact Us’ button in the upper right corner.

This message is to share important information with Sentido families about a potential change by HHSC that could affect reimbursement rates for some essential supplies like feeding bags and nutritional formulas. These changes are proposed for September 2026 and might impact the support you or your family member receives.

Families are invited to participate in a hearing on Monday, November 10th. You can register to share your story verbally or send a written comment by email at PFDAcuteCare@hhs.texas.gov. When sharing your feedback, please include how these products help your child, the impact if they're less available, and how the clinical support from your provider makes a difference.

Sentido is working to share awareness and gather feedback. Your voice can help ensure your child keeps getting the nutrition and support they need to stay healthy and happy.
