Urological

Don’t Let Urological Factors Interfere with Your Life.

We have a large formulary of pediatric, adult and gender specific products to meet your individualized needs.

  • An Intermittent Catheter is a flexible, thin tube that a male will temporarily insert through the urethra from the bladder. The external part of the thin tube may be left open, allowing urine to drain into a receptacle or an external drainage bag.

  • A Closed System Catheter is a pre-lubricated, self-contained catheter housed inside a collections bag. When inserting, the male will insert the bag through the bladder to the urethra. Once inserted, urine will drain into the attached collection bag.

  • Hydrophilic Catheters contain a pre-lubricated layer of coating, attached to the surface of the tube, to ultimately bind with water making it a more convenient and comfortable insertion option. Once the lubrication on the hydrophilic catheter tube is activated from water, the catheter will have a slippery surface to help make self-catheterization smoother.

  • A Cecostomy Tube (C-Tube) is placed through an opening in the abdomen through the large intestine to the Cecum. It is a non-latex tube/catheter that provides irrigation through the anal to provide proper drainage.

    Cecostomy Surgery Supplies Include:

    • Standard surgery pack

    • 3-0 absorbable suture (bladder)

    • 0-1 absorbable suture (PDS) or nonabsorbable suture (body wall)

    • 2-0 absorbable suture (musculature, SQ tissue)

    • 2-0 to 0 nonabsorbable suture (skin)

    • 2-0 to 0 suture for finger trap knot

    • Pezzar sized to match the patient (no more than 1/8 size of the bladder when not distended). Pezzars are preferred as the foley balloon can rupture. If used, the balloon should be distended with saline rather than air.

  • Enemas are products to stimulate and empty the bowel. Enema Supplies Include:

    • Enema Bag

    • Enema Bucket

    • Enema Hose

    • Enema Nozzle

    • & More!

  • There are many other supplies we offer to support your urological needs. Some of these supplies include catheter lubricant, catheter holder/traps, tubing/connectors, and clamps.
